Dear Friends, 

Wish you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year ahead. The first issue
of the fifth volume is now up on the website. We hope, by now you will
be starting to be come more familiar, if not comfortable, with the new
format, new site and indeed the new name, Global South. We continue to
try and make the new site more interactive, and there, depend more and
more on you and your responses. So, do please write in, and help us
reach out more. And do tell us how you feel we could improve. Or, if it
is a piece you want to discuss. Or if it is just that you wish to take
up some issues relevant for the South Forum.
