Dear Friends,

I am writing to provide details of the Noel Butlin Archives Centre
Annual Lecture, and to call for Membership Renewals for the year 2008-9.

The Annual Lecture, to be presented by Michael Piggott is titled
"Alchemist Magpies? Collecting Archivists and Their Critics", and will
be held on Tuesday 16 September, from 5.30pm-7pm in the McDonald Room of
the Menzies Library, ANU. Refreshments will follow the lecture. Further
