From: Arkadiusz J Jelen arkj at o2.pl Dear Sir,
My name is Arkadiusz Jelen, I am from Poland.
I am looking for information about a polish anarcho-syndicalist Jozef Zielinski (1861-1927), a medical student, who was active in Paris (1888-1920).
In five years (1901-1906) he published four pamphlets:
"Strejk powszechny" [The General Strike] (1901),
"Obłudny socyalizm" [Hypocritical Socialism] (1902),
"Czy w Polsce anarchizm ma racje bytu" [Is Anarchism in Poland Justified?](1906),
"Bojowe robotnicze związki zawodowe" [Workers' Unions in Struggle] (1906)
and edited the journal "Najmita" [Mercenary] (1914).
Thereafter, he worked with Marc Pierrot and Jacques Reclus at "Les Temps nouveaux: revue internationale des idées communists", which appeared in Paris from 1919 to 1921.
Moreover, J. Zielinski was busy with industrial hygiene and published lots of brochures, in the French language.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Yours faithfully
Arkadiusz Jelen
