Thirsk-Feinstein Dissertation Prize for Danielle van den Heuvel

Danielle van den Heuvel was awarded the Thirsk-Feinstein Dissertation
Prize at the annual conference of the British Economic History Society
(28 - 30 March 2008).
She received the prize, 1000 pound, for her dissertation _Women and
entrepreneurship. Female traders in the Northern Netherlands c.
1580-1815_, which she wrote at the IISH as part of the project 'Women's
Work in the Northern Netherlands in the Early Modern Period'. See also
